Is there any way to find it? You know the one where people posted pix of how they arrange their kits? If someone knows where that is and can bump it (I'm looking, too), I'd appreciate it.

You can see parts of it on a Google search. Someone emailed me last week looking for it. It dropped off the server.

Wow that MM thread is inspiring. Looking at other people's kits makes me want to go through mine for 100th time.
I noticed there was one kit there with a LOT of MAC in it. What I did to the last products I will ever buy/use of theirs is: * scratch off the MAC logo on the clear palettes (easy to do with a knife/metal spatula) * use black nailpolish to cover over the MAC logo on anything black (large palettes, powder compacts, etc). I highly recommend it for those on the boycott and who don't want to advertise MAC. I know a lot of people aren't able/willing to throw their MAC stuff out. T |

What I'm doing to cover the name:
I use the two sided adhasive tape for scrapbooking, and applied that to the back of my biz card, and slapped (gently) the card over the logo. It not only covers the logo, but makes it just a wee less likely anyone will steal palettes, AND keeps my name in front of people so that they remember me. So I did it to ALL palettes. I keep meaning to take pics of my kit. I think Vik will slap me when I get to NYC if I don't. "EmElle"

Emelle, that has to be one of the best ideas I've ever heard. I'm going RIGHT NOW to slap (again, gently) my business cards on all my palettes, but I'm gonna cover them with contact (clear adhesive plastic - you know, what we mums cover our kids school books with), so the card doesn't get trashed.

I had a Graffiti artist friend of mine deck my MAC palettes out. They're dope and no one else has anything remotely like that.
Ankywhoo, thanks mucho for re-starting this here. Unfortunate that it fell off, as it's one of the most useful (non-repetitive) threads that has ever come up here. I knew it started on MM, but I don't go over there often so I like having the info here.  Thanks! - Tania and visit No-Spec

I have metallic contact paper. Never thought of using it on my palettes, but I am certainly going to now.
I have all of my concealer (the full coverage kind I love, but won't advertise ever again) in a water color kit. It's uber-tiny and the mini water color pans (removable) make great empty pans for lipstick to be glued into other containers. If that makes sense, great - if not, check out the mini water color kits at your local art store. |

Because I'm super anal, I've labeled all of my palettes so I know what's in there before I open them up. (Reds/Warms, Greens & Golds, Neutrals, etc.). So, once I heard about the boycott, I just took my P-touch label maker, made some new labels, and stuck them right over the name, so I stay organized and leave the advertising out of it!

Margina, I love your makeup kit case and Viks also. They seem to be really good for organizing. I've been looking in Michaels and browsing online, but haven't seen anything like that.
Do you mind If I ask you where did you buy such a cute bags? Here is my kit just for now:   Actually I have made some changes arranging the stuff and I know I need to take some more pics to show what it's inside the bags. I'll post more soon ~Alma
