Depends on the skin type and condition. I keep a few foil packettes of cleansers and moisturizers in my kit for different skin types and keep a small bottle of toner for all skin types in it as well. Rose oil has been credited for its soothing and antiseptic properties. Lavender oil is known for its balancing, soothing, healing and anti-septic properties. I like to send the models a form at least a week prior to the shoot to help prepare their skin in advance. Stay away from moisturizers that are heavy or "tacky". Do use something that is light and hydrating for dry/mature or sun damaged skin. For oily skin, I would use something that is oil-free and light-weight. I also carry a mattifier (shine control) in my kit for oily skin types. You can use this over the moisturizer. I heard that Your Name Cosmetics carries a Retextur Creme that is very nice as a skin prep moisturizer. If you want to keep it simple, try finding a toner and moisturizer that suits all skin types. Hope this info. help. Good luck!
