Rachel,

First things first girl, CALM DOWN! Hehe. Seriously, the worst thing you can do right now is stress yourself out. It will make you lose focus. This is your first test. Trust me, there will be MANY MANY more to come in your life, even if this one goes wrong. This is not the test that will make or break your career, and in fact, I am not sure a test could really do that to you anyway.

I agree with everyone on the number of models. I recommend getting 2 models tho, in case one doesn't show up. Normally, you would work on the second girl while the first one is being shot. But this time its ok not to do that, you want to be on set and watch what happens while they are shooting. Believe me, I learned that the hard way. Just prepare the models that this will be a full day shoot. That way you can relax and not worry about getting them out of the studio quickly.

Also, I would not recommend ordering a lot of clothes from e-bay. Since it is your first test, it will also probably become the first test to take out of your book once you have a book. So don't stress yourself out too much. At some point in your testing career you will want to start working with stylists and not have to rely on models to bring their clothes. But this is a first experience. You can set up an appointment with the models a few days before the shoot to see their clothes if you think they would be willing to do that.

If you absolutely can't stand the idea of using the model's clothing, go to a store like TJ MAXX (discount store) that has a good return policy, and buy some discount designer pieces. Buy things that won't show sweat stains, that you can tuck the tags in and not need to cut them off, and that are about a size 4-6 (if the girl is not an agency model, she may be closer to a 6). Bring hair clips, binder clips, straight pins etc in case you need to make the clothes hang better on the model. Bring your own jewelry. If you have a size 9 foot, bring your shoes. If not, and the model brings horrible shoes, shoot the girl from the waist up. You need tight natural beauty shots in your book anyway (really clean, almost neutral pretty makeup is what most people want to see).

I have a lot more advice if you want it, and I have learned it in a short time. I have been doing photoshoots for less than a year, but have probably done like 40 maybe? Can't give an exact number, but I'd wajor its close to that.
