She brought the "school kit" and I can list every item in it. Not the greatest quality items but they would do the trick for any beginner. I don't know how much of the course fee is attributed to that kit, but I hope it isn't much. I can't use the brushes, my lip pallet (that arrived after I threatened to call the BBB) has 4 colors and 2 glosses in it. I don't know what brand makes it, but it is an odd little deal with a little pop out mirror. Something you would expect in a consumer based line of products. The "kit" from her school sits in the bottom of my closet.

Day one she taught me how to wash my brushes;) I have been washing brushes for a couple years now, but she wanted me to learn it her way. She uses Clean and Clear face wash. I don't. I watched, she talked.

After giving me one handout ( a pic of a face) She asked me to write in some notes. Basically giving me her terminology for areas of the face so I would know what she was referring to. I guess 'bridge of the nose' is a tough one for some people to understand.

She let me do a basic makeup on her on day two. Foundation, powder, contour, highlight and lipcolor. No word on how to choose colors, matching foundations, skin tones...anything.

On day three, we applied makeup to ourselves. Her only word of advice to me was not to under line my lips and to use a tissue if I wanted an "Arabic" look on the edges of the eyes.

I didn't get a model until day four when her assistant arrived. I was allowed to do one airbrush application and wham!, I was "certified"

No other models were provided.

I did a total of 3 applications in the 4 days she was here. She told me to take a pic on my cell phone camera to analyze my results...

My thought on that - "Huh?"

Sadly, anyone could learn more from youtube videos than in her class...

My work doesn't look any better now than when I was "non-certified" , but I am not giving up. I am hoping to get my investment back and put it into some legit courses I have since found.
