oh vanessa, your recent work that you posted on MM is really awesome! Good luck!

I would also love some more information about the process. I've been trying to at least receive critique from the 2 other agencies I haven't gone yet and sign up for the assistant's roster. For the 2, I was on the assistant roster for one of them and they sent me on a test, and was working hard on separating my 'bridal' portfolio with the commercial one~ but the manager of the artist left for another job in NYC recently so I have to start over with them...! and the other agency, they requested to see my book again last October (2010) for a second review, and she told me: "You are soooo close...just your hair [styling]" and encouraged me to send *new* work via email~ I've been doing that but I never get a response!

So ..I'm in square one again! Any info would be greatly appreciated. I also heard that for one of the agencies I haven't gone to, they require a percentage of All the work, even those you book by yourself (I don't know if this applies to non-commercial jobs, like weddings, as well), and I wasn't aware of that because I assumed they took the 20% agency fees, and then 20% of your pay on top of that.
