I'm here because this is the forum where my peers reside and I can always count on honest, well-founded and upfront advice.
If I want critique, I get an honest answer and very good pointers on what to improve, most of the time from the long time members here.
They are all veteran artists with years of experience, willing to share without holding back.

New members may be reluctant to post for critique sometimes, that may be true, but a big part of growing as an artist, is listening to advice even if it's not what you WANT to hear.
No newbie has ever grown into a true artist from getting "halleluja's" alone. You grow from putting yourself and your work out there and learning from your mistakes.
With 20 years in the business, this still holds true to this very day in my case.

For me the forum is just as it should be, there is a wealth of info here without any clutter and useless posts like you would find on MM.
It's very easily accessible, so I woulnd't want to change it for anything.
