Hairstyling

I had a good look through the FAQ and couldn't find anything, so here goes...

To all the hairstylists and make up artists who also do hair,

I've just landed myself an assisting job which could open quite a few doors for me (it's for a chat show on sky 1 in the UK) and was told I'd be eventually helping with the hair as well as the make up.
Just as there are certain make up looks you get asked to do again and again (smokey eyes anyone?) what hairstyles...

When you find the images from free test shoot being sold on stock library

Hi everybody,

Well, my question is pretty much in the subject line.....
Few months ago I did an unpaid test shoot (or TF* shoot, if you like). Yesterday I discovered that every image from that shoot is up for sale on iStock.... And several of them have been sold, actually....

Is it a common practice these days? Doesn't seem quite right to me....
As far as I understand, a 'test shoot' or 'TF* shoot' isn't meant to result in any monetary...

Chemotherapy and Creating life like Eyebrows

As a once upon a time makeup artist I could still use some suggestions. I've a lady friend whose about to start chemotherapy treatments. We were talking yesterday about shopping for makeup in the advent she loses her eyebrows. There are a few options that come immediately to mind. One is painting them on or purchasing artificial ones. I've looked at some artificial ones, (limited selection) but I'm hesitant to purchase because of color choice,...

question- dripbook image sizes

So I recently re-did my dripbook site, and now for some reason my images are showing up super small....they still show up larger on other sites (MM, facebook, photobucket etc)- but aren't on dripbook. I emailed their support team and they said:

Michael Buble Video

Hey all, I see they posted the new music video for Michael Buble's "Haven't met you yet" song. I keyed the hairstyling on all the extras (not MB or his girlfriend). Seemed easy until the extras grew to about 150 (background, characters, dancers and a full highschool marching band)! I had an assistant and we covered as much as we could, but mostly maintained the principle dancers and the foreground extras, deep extras not so much. It was a lot of fun and MB was entertaining...
